Integration Details
The QuickBooks Time connector by Dapt integrates QuickBooks Time and ADP Workforce Now. Time is tracked, managed, and approved in QuickBooks Time. The Dapt connector is then used to transfer that time data to ADP with the click of a button. Employee data is also kept in sync to ensure that an employee’s information and status are reflected in QuickBooks time eliminating the need for double entry.

QuickBooks Time will send the following data ADP for each employee that has recorded time during the period:
- Time (hours in decimal format)
- Overtime hours, including double time
The following data will be retrieved from ADP to update records in QuickBooks Time:
- Company Name
- Pay Groups
- Employee first name
- Employee last name
- Employee phone number
- Employee email address
- Employee ID
- Earnings codes
Employee Data Synchronization
Use the connector to synchronize Employee data between ADP and QuickBooks Time.
The connector includes the following actions:
- Adds a new team member to QuickBooks Time when a new employee is hired in ADP
- Changes a QuickBooks Time team member's status to inactive when an employee is terminated in ADP
- Updates the QuickBooks Time team member name, email, phone number, and payroll ID if a change is made in ADP
Data Transfer Synchronization
The connector transfers the total hours per pay period for all employees connected, creating a payroll batch in ADP for processing. Demographic data for employees is synchronized with QB Time team members.

- Employee email address
- Employee ID
PTO Pay Code Synchronization
Connect your PTO types in QuickBooks Time to the pay codes set up in ADP to ensure that time off is properly handled.
